Special Channel for Remote Areas

To facilitate residents in areas without ATM machines or post offices to receive universal cash remittance, registers will be prepared for residents in three townships: Shizi Township in Pingtung County, Wanrong Township in Hualien County, and Jinfeng Township in Taitung County, and the remittance will be made accordingly.

  Registered households in Shizi Township in Pingtung County, Wanrong Township in Hualien County, and Jinfeng Township in Taitung County may receive cash remittance from 8 am to 6 pm by registering at their local police station during the registration period, which is from March 20, 2023 to March 25,2023. The registration can be completed at the following police stations: Shizi Police Station, Neishi Police Station, and Caopu Police Station for Shizi Township in Pingtung County; Xilin Police Station, Wanrong Police Station, and Hongye Police Station for Wanrong Township in Hualien County; and Jinfeng Police Station for Jinfeng Township in Taitung County. Alternatively, registered residents may act as proxies for friends and family with household registration set up in the preceding townships. The registration requires the NHI ID or national ID of the recipient and the proxy, which will be verified by the police officer.

  From April 6, 2023, from 8 am to 6 pm daily, the preceding registered resident (who has been systematically inspected and approved) may receive cash from the police station where they completed the registration process in two weeks . Please bring the recipient’s or proxy’s NHI card or national ID card for verification.
